Background Information
Mr. Basil Lenkoe founded Johweto Combined School in 1995 as an independent co-educational school. He saw the need for a school to service the impoverished informal settlement of Orange Farm. At that time, the nearest school was about 15km away. Over the last 10 years Johweto has produced a consequent 100% matric pass rate with a high rate of bachelor passes.
